Day 1: Arrival at JRO / Transfer to Arusha

Touch down at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where our friendly guide will warmly welcome you. Relax during your transfer to Arusha, a bustling town surrounded by breathtaking views of Mount Meru. Spend your evening at Pazuri Inn, preparing for the remarkable safari experience ahead. Indulge in a delicious dinner and unwind in comfort as the adventure begins.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, set out for Tarangire National Park, famed for its vast elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Embark on an exciting game drive, where you might encounter diverse wildlife such as lions, zebras, and giraffes in their natural habitat. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the stunning landscapes before continuing your exploration of this wildlife haven. Conclude the day with a relaxing evening at the lodge.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park / Mto wa Mbu Cultural Tour & Home-Hosted Lunch

Begin your day with a drive to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions and vibrant birdlife. Experience a morning game drive, spotting flamingos along the lake’s shores and hippos in its waters.

Next, visit the bustling town of Mto wa Mbu for a cultural tour, exploring markets, farms, and local crafts. Savor a delicious, home-hosted lunch with a Tanzanian family before heading to Karatu for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Game en Route to Serengeti Central

Enjoy breakfast before embarking on a scenic drive toward Serengeti National Park, with a game drive en route. Day 5: Full Day Serengeti Central

Start your day with an exhilarating game drive in the heart of Serengeti National Park. Witness the incredible wildlife diversity, from prowling lions and leopards to herds of wildebeest and zebras.

For an unforgettable experience, opt for an early-morning hot air balloon safari, offering panoramic views of the savannah followed by a champagne breakfast. Return to your camp in the evening for relaxation and a gourmet dinner.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

After breakfast, travel to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend into this ancient volcanic caldera, home to an astonishing variety of wildlife, including rare black rhinos, elephants, and flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor while soaking in the stunning views. In the late afternoon, continue to the Lodge in Karatu.

Day 7: Meet Hadzabe & Datoga Community

Begin your day by meeting the Hadzabe, one of Tanzania’s last hunter-gatherer tribes, to learn about their unique lifestyle and traditions. Participate in activities like traditional hunting and fire-making for an authentic cultural experience.

Later, visit the Datoga community, known for their blacksmithing skills and vibrant culture. In the evening, return to Karatu for an overnight stay in a cozy lodge.

Day 8: Drive Back to Arusha / Lunch / Shanga Tour / Depart or Zanzibar Extension

After breakfast, journey back to Arusha, where you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at the Arusha Coffee Lodge. Visit the Shanga workshop, a social enterprise empowering artisan with disabilities, and pick up unique souvenirs. Reflect on your incredible journey as you prepare for departure. Alternatively, extend your trip to Zanzibar to relax on its pristine beaches and soak up the island’s exotic charm.
